"If you are a frequent flyer, you probably try to make the best use of your time when traveling. If you’re like me you’re continually looking for strategies to get more done on those days you have to fly. Many people believe the best way to schedule a flying day is to try to arrive as close as possible to departure time so you don’t waste time sitting in the airport. That used to be my strategy, until I began to realize that as a frequent flyer, I had a special arrangement with the airline that if it was time to go and I wasn’t there, they could just go ahead and leave without me. After they kept their part of the agreement a time or two, I began to realize that a much better strategy is to arrive at the airport extra early and plan to work or share my faith with someone in the gate area. Arriving early is also a lot less stressful way to redeem the time. "
