"If you look at the top of the Supreme Court building in Washington DC you will see Moses with the 10 commandments. Well, I take that back. You won’t actually see Moses, but you will see a carving of Moses and the 10 commandments. That carving was put there to show the importance of the 10 Commandments as the basis of our legal system in America. But the 10 Commandments also can give direction for our personal lives and how we should spend our time. For example, when considering this evening’s entertainment, will you watch something that glorifies adultery and makes it look fashionable? Will you watch people commit murder? Will you expose your family to advertising that makes them covetous? Will your entertainment be free of language that takes God’s name in vain? Will the children in the entertainment be role models for your children by honoring their mother and father? Remember, learning the 10 Commandments and applying them to how you will use your time, will redeem the time. "
