"Consider these questions:
Why does round pizza always come in a square box?
If quitters never win and winners never quit, how could you ever ""Quit while you are ahead""?
How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work?
Maybe some of those made you think. That’s what questions do.
If you are like most people there is probably some project facing you right now with no simple solution. Perhaps you are wasting time procrastinating on it because you just don’t know where to begin.
No problem has ever been solved without first asking questions. Jesus often challenged His followers by asking questions. The better you become at asking the right questions, the better you’ll become at solving problems and identifying the best use of your time. If you would like to see 101 questions to sharpen your focus and multiply your effectiveness visit our website because asking clarifying questions is often the first step to redeeming the time.

"A study discovered 31% of employees end the year with unused vacation time. That might come as a surprise to those of us who really love our vacations. But there are those among us who equate vacation time with lack of commitment.
This is sometimes true of those in ministry. I know of one minister who boasted that he never took a vacation because the devil never takes a vacation. The problem with that thinking is that you aren’t the devil and you’d better not fight the devil in your own strength or you’ll lose.
The life of Jesus is our only example of perfect time management. And His life included times of rest and retreat from the crowds and their demands on his time. Taking a vacation gives us an opportunity to refresh, revive and renew so that we accomplish even more in the long run.
Remember, don’t act like the devil. Take your vacation so you’ll redeem the time.

"Steven Douglas, of Campus Crusade for Christ, challenges those who are facing a big task to ask a simple question:
“What are three things I could do in the next three months that could make a 50% difference?”
I like this question because it gets to the heart of what we need to do to improve our effectiveness. Douglas notes that most people ask, “What are 300 things we could do in the next 9 years to get us 100% there.” His 50% question on the other hand identifies the big chunks of the project that can be accomplished in a relatively short time frame.
God has ordained that we spend only a short amount of time in this world. There are only so many things we can do in that time. Asking this question, “What are three things I could do in the next three months that could make a 50% difference?” will identify the main activities that redeem the time."
"Charles Shultz, who wrote the Peanuts comics, said, “Don’t worry about the world coming to an end today. It’s already tomorrow in Australia.”
Perhaps that’s sound wisdom for those given to worrying. It is a proven fact that the overwhelming majority of things we worry about never occur. Someone has defined worry as assuming responsibility for situations God never asked me to be responsible for.
Worry is also one of Satan’s favorite techniques to make Christians waste time by focusing on something other than what God has called them to do. According to one popular motivational speaker, “FEAR,” F-E-A-R, stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. It happens when we listen to the Devil’s lies of what will go wrong if we take God’s way.
Proverbs says that the wicked will flee when no man pursues, but the righteous is bold as a lion. Remember that proverb next time you’re tempted to worry. It will encourage you to be bold and redeem the time.
