"A young antelope had a big date and one evening and spent hours getting all dressed to perfection. Unfortunately, before the date happened, she was stampeded by a heard of buffalo and killed, making her the first “self-dressed stamped antelope.”
That’s a bad joke, but a self-addressed stamped envelope can be a good tool for managing your time. How often have you had a project held up because of waiting for a response from a procrastinator? Valuable time is often lost when we have to wait for a signature, approval, or comment from those who seem to find every possible excuse for not responding promptly.
Sending them a request with a self-addressed stamped envelope, makes it a little easier for them to respond and may even make them feel guilty if they waste your stamp.
The Bible tells us to be patient with the weak. That’s not always easy to do. But, doing little things to encourage them along may help both of you redeem the time.

"Have you ever wondered why God would ask someone a question? There is nothing God does not know. Yet we read of several times in the Bible where He asks questions. So why would He seek information from people?
The answer is that when God asks a question He is not asking it to gather information. Rather, He asks it for the sake of the one being questioned. For example, when Adam was hiding in the garden after he sinned, God asked him where he was. Certainly God already knew where he was. But, God was using the question to point out Adam’s foolish behavior.
That’s what questions often do. They make us think and they highlight for us, areas of life where our use of time is not consistent with our stated values. We’ve compiled a list of 101 of these questions on our website at LifeChangingSeminars.com. Take a moment to print a few copies of that list for yourself and others who want to redeem the time.

"Everyone gives their time, and ultimately their life, to what they believe. The problem is some people believe in little or nothing and so they give their lives to little or nothing. But this one life is all we have. We live it as we believe it and then it is gone.
That’s why it’s necessary to have a purpose in life bigger than yourself and your own personal pleasure. There have been some good resources, both secular and Christian, created in recent years on purposeful living. But none do any good unless we make application of those concepts to our daily schedule.
To help you do that, we’ve linked to a free resource, which helps you build a personal mission statement, on the resource page at LifeChangingSeminars.com. Take a few moments to explore this free internet resource. It may give you the needed motivation to create a mission statement which will help you determine God’s purpose for your life so you’ll redeem the time.

"As we grow older, those of who wants to accomplish something for God, are often tempted to despair as we see our time in this world drawing to a close. We begin to wonder if we’ll ever be able to do the things we hoped to do for God as a young person.
What we fail to remember is that while it is true that age often diminishes our ability to produce what we once did, we are also getting better at what we do with the passing of time. Chances are at 50 years old you will produce twice as much in a day as when you were 20 because you are now wiser, more skilled, and in a better position than you were 30 years ago.
When we realize this, we don't have to view time as our enemy. God has established seasons of life each with its own challenges and blessings.
Remembering that you're not just getting older, you're also getting better, will give you the encouragement you need to redeem time.
