Time Quote of the Day

Welcome to Life Changing Seminars!

The Grubbs FamilyWelcome to Life Changing Seminars and Redeeming the Time Radio!  Life Changing Seminars is a ministry dedicated to challenging Christians to Redeem the Time.  How is a distinctively Christian approach to time management different from time management for anyone else?  The difference is in the Biblical concept of eternity.  That's a really big difference!  Our prayer is that on these pages, you will learn more about our ministry, and find resources that will help you to "redeem the time."

-Rick Grubbs

Life Changing Seminars continues to impact thousands of lives each and every year.  Churches, Christian School conventions, homeschool groups, and national organizations as well as local community groups and businesses have learned principles to help them better manage the most precious resource that God has given them--their time.  We would be privileged to share these principles with your church, organization, or convention as well.

Time Minute for the Day

smallerclockicon.jpg"A Christian leader, who has been greatly used of God in our day, tells about an incident early in his life that helped him establish right goals and priorities.  While still in high school, a youth leader encouraged him to ask two questions before becoming involved in extracurricular activities.

The first was “What will this activity count 10 years from now?” Then, “What will this activity count for eternity?”  The counselor explained how those two questions are like the markers that help a farmer plow a straight furrow.  An experienced plowman will pick a post at the end of the field and then a distant tree behind it.  As long as those two markers line up, he knows he is going in a straight line.

In the same way, when an activity meets the 10 year test and the eternity test it can be considered a good investment of time.  But those that don’t line up will hinder us from redeeming the time.
