Welcome to Life Changing Seminars!

The Grubbs FamilyWelcome to Life Changing Seminars and Redeeming the Time Radio!  Life Changing Seminars is a ministry dedicated to challenging Christians to Redeem the Time.  How is a distinctively Christian approach to time management different from time management for anyone else?  The difference is in the Biblical concept of eternity.  That's a really big difference!  Our prayer is that on these pages, you will learn more about our ministry, and find resources that will help you to "redeem the time."

-Rick Grubbs

Life Changing Seminars continues to impact thousands of lives each and every year.  Churches, Christian School conventions, homeschool groups, and national organizations as well as local community groups and businesses have learned principles to help them better manage the most precious resource that God has given them--their time.  We would be privileged to share these principles with your church, organization, or convention as well.

Time Minute for the Day

smallerclockicon.jpgDr. Thomas Stanley, with the University of Georgia, did a study of self-made millionaires to see what qualities they had in common.  The one thing he noticed was that they all worked long and hard.  One millionaire in his study was asked why he worked 12-14 hours a day.    He observed, “In our society you work 8 hours a day for survival, and if you only work 8 hours all you do is survive…everything over 8 hours is an investment in your future.”

His response can be insightful for us as Christians.  Lots of people today want to do the minimum and receive the maximum.  While working a 14 hour day would likely not be God’s will for many of us with families, the principle of investing time, above and beyond the minimum required, is a very good principle to observe.

Finding what God wants you to do, and devoting whatever time is needed to complete that mission, is redeeming the time.
